“Autor: Placeholder” in author archive

This is probably showing up because of a plugin – please disable the plugins one by one to see which one is causing it. Or you could use this CSS to hide it:

.vcard{display:none;}

Unfortunately this CSS does not work.
I will try to figure out if a plugin is causing this…

When will the show author bug on posts be fixed?

It has already been fixed in the update pushed last night (version 1.2).

Is it supposed to say the name of the author at the top of the post?

No it is not. Which makes me think this is a plugin injecting this code.

I meant a code line in the author archive, not in single posts.

Edit parts/feed.php and change line 26 from

<h2><?php echo esc_html(get_the_archive_title()); ?></h2>

to

<h2><?php echo get_the_archive_title(); ?></h2>
