I’ve been running wp + woocommerce + jupiter theme + wpbakery. on about 2019-07-10 i updated plugins and Autoptimize stopped playing nice with wpbakery, breaking front end javascript (page looked to be loading forever). Clearing the autoptimize cache did not help. I’ve had to turn it off. Not sure why it died, there was no obvious point of failure in the browser developer console or the server back end logs.

How do I run Autoptimize now?

    Thanks!

  • Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    (@optimizingmatters)

Could be due to CSS or JS optimization, try to identify which one by disabling (and re-enabling) CSS optimization and then JS optimization. once you know you could try with the “aggregate JS” (or “aggregate CSS”) option turned off. Eventually you’ll want to turn “aggregate” back on and have to look into which specific CSS- or JS-file to exclude from optimization to fix.

AO’s FAQ has more info on troubleshooting and how to exclude.

    hope this helps,
    frank (ao dev)
