After the WordPress Update to 5.6.1, the Autoptimize plugin (as well as other plugins) has created a lot of issues on my site that is built with Elementor.

Just wanted to bring this to the attention of the developers, hopefully they are already in the process of updating the plugin.

your high TTFB indicates a page cache miss (or maybe you disabled WP Rocket, which you shouldn’t), and with a high TTFB your LCP (and all other KPI’s) will be higher as well ??

If you want to work on this more, the next step would be re-enabling “optimize JS” and thy the other options I mentioned.

    Optimizing Matters asked:
    * do images show when “optimize JS” is off? YES TTFB=3.7s LCP 6.0s
    * do images show when “optimize JS” is on but “aggregate JS” is off YES TTFB=4.2s LCP 6.9s
    * do images show when “optimize JS” is on but “aggregate JS” is on but “try catch wrapping” is off? YES TTFB=3.5s LCP 6.2s

Autoptimize deactivated: TTFB=0.2s LCP 2.5s but with
    WP Rocket v 3.8.4
ShortPixel Image Optimizer v 4.21.1 (Subscription) and
    Lazy Load – Optimize Images v 2.3.4

TTFB = Time to first byte
LCP = Largest Content Paint (Element)
How can AO play nice with its sisters?

AO normally works great with WP Rocket’s page caching (we actually regularly combine those for our optimization projects), so I have no idea why TTFB would be that much higher I’m afraid.

Does the higher TTFB remain when reloading the same page?
