    or do something else?

I would also untick “also aggregate inline CSS” and (if the problem persists) exclude wp-content/cache and/ or wp-content/uploads from CSS optimization.

    hope this helps,

    Hey Frank,

Thanks for the super quick reply

I just checked that “also aggregate inline CSS” is unticked.

Plus, I just wanted to confirm this point, that if I just used “Purge All Caches” of W3TC plugin, whenever I get this mail, will that do the job?

Not much of a coder, that’s why I opted for WordPress & Avada theme. And I didn’t get this part:
“exclude wp-content/cache and/ or wp-content/uploads from CSS optimization.”

    Got that point

    Exclude wp-content/cache/, wp-content/uploads/

Done that too, as now it’s – wp-content/cache/, wp-content/uploads/, admin-bar.min.css, dashicons.min.css in “”Exclude CSS from Autoptimiz:

at this point (i.e. AO 2.3.x) you will also have to purge AO’s own cache (settings page at the bottom “save changes & purge cache”. with AO 2.4 you will be able to just purge W3TC’s cache an AO’s will be emptied automagically as well.

And I didn’t get this part: “exclude wp-content/cache and/ or wp-content/uploads from CSS optimization.”

well, some themes (and Avada is one of those) save non-“fully static” CSS to those directories. for Avada the dir to exclude is wp-content/uploads

    frank

Can you send me a screen shot of where I would exclude wp-content/uploads? Thanks!

    Suzy

I believe I found it. Thanks! I will see if it helps.
