    if i enable autoptimize, my theme break some function. Theme is Publication. i.e. the previous and next article view at the bottom of the page don’t show featured images and also see a big black line in the featured image when i open one article. or other example social button from addtoany won’t show.
    the website is https://www.happytechnology.net
    now i don’t have the plugin on.
    Maybe some conflict with w3tc or the cloudflare cdn that i have on my site?

    evening gufoman;
    have a look at the FAQ for general info on how to troubleshoot.

    the essence; try to determine if the problem with HTML, CSS or JS optimization and then drill further down, adjusting AO configuration to fit your specific needs by using the options on the settings-screen (excluding jquery.js maybe or forcing JS into head if you problems are JS-related).

    if would run into issues while troubleshooting let me know what noticed and what you tried and I’ll be happy to advice and I might even have a look at your site.

    happy tuning!

    i try to exclude jquery.js and also move js to head. my problem seem to be with Inline and Defer CSS and i unchek this option. but also with this option disable my google pagespeed point get slower. from 79 to 73(mobile tab).

    inline & defer if pretty advanced stuff, so I wouldn’t touch that until all other things were working perfectly.

    regarding pagespeed insight; compare results with and without AO (by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to your URL) and see what is different (in detail) between what Google advises in both. if your mobile pagespeed is lower with, Google should help you identify what became worse and that knowledge can be used to improve your config. feel free to share that info here and we can see what the next steps are.

    well, the first one is to be expected as you had to exclude jquery.js and guess cookielawinfo.js had to be excluded as well. no need to exclude jquery-migrate though.

    but just these 3 won’t make your mobile pagespeed score decrease, as you undoubtably have more blocking JS/CSS without AO. so carefully compare all pagespeed insights tips with and without AO to see why your score went down.
