Autoptimize and excluding the plugin seems not working again

  • Hi,

    I have come across the same problem as another user in the past (“Exclude funktioniert mit Autoptimize leider nicht (mehr))”: autoptimize and the plugin do not work well together: the cookie message is not shown.

    It has been suggested to exclude the js files from the autoptimize settings – as in the documentation https://dsgvo-for-wp.com/dokumentation/#/ – but that does NOT resolve the problem for me, unfortunately…

    My settings
    – Autoptimize v 2.7.5 (most recent)
    – have followed https://dsgvo-for-wp.com/dokumentation/#/
    – do not use Google fonts, Social Share Buttons, Google Maps
    – have also deactivated all plugins apart from automptize and DSGVO-All-In-One-WP so can say that the problem is caused by this combination.

    The only fix is to effectively switch off autoptimze which I am not keen to do for speed reasons.

    sure that you have unchecked this option:

    Minify excluded CSS and JS files?

    Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, I did, ie. this option is NOT checked “Ausgeschlossene CSS- und JS-Dateien minimieren?”

    I have spent some good few hours (>5) on it and I can only get it working if I do NOT check the option “JS-Dateien zusammenfügen?”. That, however, means that my site generates lots of requests because the scripts are not put together…

    FYI, I exclude the following scripts in the autoptimize settings: parms, plugins/dsvgo-all-in-one-for-wp/, wp-includes/js/dist/, wp-includes/js/tinymce/, js/jquery/jquery.js

    Any idea, please, what I could try? I would be thankful!
