    Hi,

    I’ve read a couple threads about using autoptimze with cloudflare, but I’m still a bit confused.

    Cloudflare claims to cache static material, so does that mean they automatically cache autoptimize’s files? Is there a benefit to including the cloudflare url in the CDN settings option? (If yes, how would a person find out what to put there?)

    Also, cloudflare will minimize html/js/css. Is it better to turn those options off, since it would be redundant with autoptimize?

    Thanks!!!

    morning @michelgreenwood;
    1. they indeed cache autoptimized files
    2. no cloudflare URL to include in AO options
    3. cloudflare minify can still make sense if you have to exclude JS or CSS from optimization in AO

    hope this clarifies,
    frank

    Thanks for the support.

    … Why don’t you charge anything for this plugin?

    … Why don’t you charge anything for this plugin?

    Many reasons;
    * I took AO over from the original developer, so at the root it’s not my work
    * It’s open source, I love open source
    * I consider making WordPress (and the web) faster a nice way to make the world a little bit better (that may be naive ?? )
    * I have a good day-time-job that brings in the bacon
    * I do have a (somewhat special) donations-page here for those who insist
    * There are links on the “optimize more”-page that, while carefully selected to be very relevant and only linking to known good tools, do bring in some money (affiliate partners)
    * I do work on premium Autoptimize “power-ups” that extent AO functionality and which are distributed by partners (well, one is already and I’m working on another one)

    So there you have it ??
