• I’ve been using SNAP for almost one year (due to renew 5/17) and it has been working really well until the last few months.

    I started having issues with posts not triggering SNAP to share them. Cron checks passed each time. This was using the ‘Use WP Cron to Schedule autopost’ option checked and I would typically set up a post to go live at 6:40am. I would find that posts had gone live without triggering SNAP and then had to click the button on the post to manually send to social networks.

    I then changed to ‘Publish Immediately’ which seemed to work at first but then I got the Instagram Sentry block error message and can’t get out of it. I can post to Instagram manually using the app and website but not via SNAP/WP. The current instructions on using a proxy on the Nextscripts website are useless.

    Today, my post wasn’t sent to any network.

    I had an open support ticket #617845 and wrote back to Ludwig several times with my log but received no answer for the past 2-3 weeks. Opened a new support ticket yesterday and still no answer.

    This is not instilling much confidence in me as I approach the time to renew this API for one year. I currently post to FB, IG, Twitter, Tumbler, Google Plus and Pinterest but really care about the first two of which IG is no blocked (I presume from using the Publish Immediately option as I has used the Use WP Cron for the past year without this particular issue).

    When you are opening a support ticket you should see those words:

    Please check the FAQ, because most probably your answer is already there and also please see the list of the Current known issues. Please do not open new tickets about them. Those tickets won’t be answered.

    I saw that and found the blog post regarding using a proxy but as I mentioned above, the description for how to use proxy is extremely limited and hard to follow.

    My main issue remains the intermittent auto-posting function whether I use a WP cron or Immediate option for posting. That is the main purpose of this plugin and it was working really well for much of the past year. Despite sending my logs and cron job info in follow up emails to Ludwig, I wasn’t receiving any answers and the ticket system doesn’t show any but the first response. I opened a second ticket and have yet to hear any suggestions on fixing this. The plugin is literally useless if it can’t post to social networks when a WP post goes ‘live’ (note I’m not talking about any auto-reposting).

    zimovid, Vidyut, the rules of www.remarpro.com forums prohibit the thread hijacking. You don’t have the same problem. Your problem is [error_type] => checkpoint_challenge_required, not “sentry_block”. Solution to your problem is described in the FAQ 4.1 and here. If you have more questions about your issue please open your own thread.

    Hello I am having the same issue, Instagram is blocked by challenge, Ludvik DNGF about that my autoposting is only filtering, filtering and filtering for weeks but no post for pages at all…
    I had to re-open ticket because I had no answer for week…

    I hope this plugin will get to work because I like the features but right now IDK…
