I just set this up for the first time and it is posting the same post over and over when I am trying to get it to repost old post.

I have my cron externally with define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true);.

It works, it post when triggered every 5 minutes for testing, but it is posting the same post ID over and over.
    Not from One to Old.

When I click Set Old Post Enabled I always come back with 0.
“Total posts included in reposting: 0”
    Could that be it?

I think I figured it out.

In order to get it to calculate total post you must manually find your first post ID, hit Set, then enable for repost and then update then leave and then come back and it has the total count and starts from the beginning.

Otherwise none of that saved and it always said 0.

Nevermind, it now has a calculated total post but is still posting the same post over and over even if i set a post ID back to the beginning.

What do you have in the Log/History? Try to switch Log/History to debug mode.

Here is the log showing I set it to post ID 19 and ID 0 yet it’s still doing 688 over and over.

Sorry this is not resolved and I have tried everything across 2 sites.
It is picking the same post randomly up in the middle it seems.

For one site 788 and the other site 668. These are not the first or last post on either site so I don’t know why those.
I am setting the time frame 1-365 days so it’s not that either.

I have Disabled All Post, Saved, Enabled All Post, Saved and saw it back at total post with the right number, and it being reset with last post.
So in theory it looks like I am staring from Old to New and it just doesn’t.
I have also tried manually setting the post ID to 0, 1 and even 215, the actual first post. It will post that first post and then the next one will be back at 788 and keep repeating every time.

This has taken a great deal of trying everything on both sites from me so I have decided unless you guys know the issue that I will just not auto repost all the old post.

    This is even my problem.
The post is always the same.
No duplicate posts at the same hour, just that every time it posts when scheduled it posts the same article.

I believe because it says the post has never been posted.

    These are my settings:

I have the same issue, no matter I do I still get “Total posts included in reposting: 0”. I even try to set the exact ID to start from, but doesnt do anything too. ??
    any idea so far?
