• A strange phenomenon in my checkout page. My own address is being automatically filled in on checkout pages from customers. I cannot figure out how to stop this, having checked through the Woocommerce options. The result has been that customer orders arrive with my shipping address on them, which leads to a number of problems . . . I have logged out of WordPress and logged out all users as well. But no luck.
    Any insights?

The user with the name jon weisberg is “VeriFresh”, which is also the administrator. This username had the name jon weisberg associated with it, but I changed it in order to test whether this changed the autofill.

What is the user ID. Look in the database, wp_users table.

    Thread Starter verifresh

    (@verifresh)

    User ID # 1

    Plugin Contributor Mike Jolley (a11n)

    (@mikejolley)

Can you look in the users table and usermeta tables and make sure there are no entries for user ID 0

    Thread Starter verifresh

    (@verifresh)

No user ID 0 in the database

    Plugin Contributor Mike Jolley (a11n)

    (@mikejolley)

Look in postmeta at the user_id column too. If it’s not that, I am stumped. Nothing in WooCommerce core would load data for a different user, so unless one of your plugins is doing it I don’t know. I’ve not seen any other reports of this from anyone.

No user meta Id 0 either

    Thread Starter verifresh

    (@verifresh)

No 0 id in postmeta file either

    Plugin Contributor Mike Jolley (a11n)

    (@mikejolley)

Just to clarify, I’m talking about the user_id column, not meta_id or id.

Commented it out but unable to check since I cannot access our site. Seems something got messed up since our last WP update. Something wrong in /home/verifres/public_html/wp-settings.php line 21.
