• Great plugin and is working well as we add or amend products. We want to push it a bit further and automate the product list showin in our categories for Best Sellers and New arrivals.

For new arrivals we need something like if last edit date or last stock qty change date < today – 30 (days) then assign to the New Arrivals category. And obviously vice, versa to remove items.

For best sellers, something along the lines of top 10 products by sales unit volume in a group of categories (or excluding a specific group of categories)

Just wondering if this is possible?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Some features have been added in version 1.0.5 of the plugin that may help with your use cases:

    • Days since product modified condition (in dropdown in Conditions column): This allows you to add/remove categories and tags based on how many days it has been since the last modified date of the product
    • Enable rules to run on a daily schedule (checkbox in Enabled? column): This may be useful in conjunction with the above point so that categories/tags auto-update when a product reaches a certain number of days since it was last modified
    • Product total sales condition (in dropdown in Conditions column): This allows applying rules based on the total sales number recorded by WooCommerce (which represents lifetime sales of the product, I think). I realize that this may not be exactly what you are going for (I assume something that could do relative ranking over defined periods, such as “top 5 sellers in the last 30 days” may be more useful, but this is quite a bit more complex. I’ll plan to keep it in mind though.)

Please note that these are brand-new features that haven’t seen a lot of real-world testing, so please report back if you notice any issues.
