Automatically uploaded images by plugins

    If I am using a plugin that generates the posts and upload the images automatically, I understand that the Media File Renamer might not be able to rename those files as they are not considered new uploads.?

    Can I just do a new “Analyze Library” periodically, and these new images will be listed under “pending”? Then I can do “Rename All”

    As a follow up, I think running FULL “Analyze Library” every time a batch of new images loaded to the media library is not a convenient solution. I noticed the “Analyze Library” runs very slowly when you have thousands of images.

    Maybe there should be an option to “Analyze Library” for newly uploaded images only… let’s say by Last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days….like that.

    Hi,

    Indeed, I will need to think about a feature like that, that may be a good idea. I added this to my todo list, it’s not super super high priority so I am afraid it might take one month or two, but it’s in there ??
