Automatically set first image in posts as featured image in Hueman 3.3.22

    Hueman is a great theme!

    However, I need help with the following issue. I’d like to automatically set every first image in my posts as featured image. That’s because I had to import a lot of posts to my new site and those posts don’t have any featured image set. I searched through the forums, I also tried with a couple of plugins/functions but unfortunately nothing worked. My Hueman theme version is 3.3.22.

    Can you advise on what would be the correct way to automatically set as featured image the first image found in an article?
