Automatically schedule post updates?

I’m struggling to find the best solution here.

I have content hosted elsewhere in two iframes, one showing upcoming sports fixtures and another showing todays.

I’ve like to be able to make a post once, but have one iframe be replaced by another once a set time has passed.

ie instead of showing ‘tomorrows matches’, I’d like the same post to show ‘todays matches’, without having to manually go back in and update the post.

All searches are leading to dead ends, even if somebody could point out some terms to search for, that would be appreciated.
