Automatically Return to Thank You Page issue

    I’m trying to return to a section of a page with an anchor link for the ‘Return URL’ setting eg..

    https://www.domainname.co.uk/page-name/#thankyou

    Although the link works if I try it manually, when making a purchase the #thankyou part doesn’t work probably because there is a bit of extra code being added on to the url. So it just stays at the top of the page and doesn’t scroll down to where the #thankyou link is.

    Is there any way this can work with returning to a part of a page by using a # anchor at the end of the return url?

    I’ve set up the extra bit in PayPal by the way.
