Automatically restricting content

Not sure why this would happen. Normally any sidebar widgets created on a page that is otherwise protected are NOT protected, although you can use PMPro shortcode to protect your sidebar widgets content.

Instead of using the above plugin, you can just create a new draft post or page, create you content there using the WYSIWYG editor, switch from Visual to Text, and copy the HTML to a text widget.
