Please is there some hook which would allow to re-upload changed images?

I am using a plugin Crop Thumbnails, which work like this: Image is first uploaded to Media library as usual, which means that all thumbnails are generated as well (and uploaded to GCS via wp-stateless). In the next step, I can crop the thumbnails via this Crop Thumbnails plugin, and the changed thumbnails jpg files are rewritten on disk. How can I tell wp-stateless to re-upload those updated thumbnails (their filename didnt change)?

  • Hello,

There is this checkbox you can try that: https://www.screencast.com/t/hl4u61KZI

Let me know if this works, if not we will go forward with troubleshooting.

I tried this option, but I think it does something else. Sorry for not updating this thread, but I ultimately decided to not use this plugin, but use a more standard solution to upload the photos in the wp-content/uploads folder and cache it via CDN on a subdomain. This way everything will work as in normal WordPress, and I also found out the multiregional bucket is quite expensive in terms of bandwidth… according to their calculator, they want to charge $600 for 5TB, which is about 2x more expensive comparing to a CDN.

    Hello,

Ok, I understand. Thank you for getting back to us and letting us know.
