Automatically Graded Quiz Responses

    Is it possible to have a short or long answer quiz response but have the student automatically receive a grade just for submitting content (vs the instructor having to review what they submitted)?

    Hi @aeonlove !

    Because short and long answer need someone to decide what a question is worth based on criteria that is up for interpretation, it isn’t possible for it to be automatically graded.

    Note that since short and long answer questions are part of the Advanced Quizzes add-on, that support questions for it would need to be sent from our site.

    If you have thoughts on how these types of questions could be automatically graded let us know. It may be something that could be added as a feature request. Thanks!
