Automatically disable NextGen Effect: not working

I’m using NextGen and social gallery. I marked “Automatically disable NextGen Effect” but still the nextgen galley is comming up after starting a scial gallery. I receive two screens: one from the social gallery and on top the nextgen. Who can I stop the nextgen galley from starting. Hope someone can help me.
