• OK, here’s an interesting one. . .

I’m creating a website for a band that already has a ton of music, video and picture media that they want to keep. The most obvious answer seemed to be to put these files into the uploads folder and then write a little batch file to create attachments so that they’re available in the Write Post/Page screens for them.

However, this seems easier said than done. Creating a post doesn’t seem to be as simple as creating a user in WordPress. There doesn’t seem to be a simple “create_post()” function I can use to iterate through my media.

Anyone know of an already-created plugin that would do the job? Or, do you know of the right function to use?

    Thanks.
