Automatically Adding ISBN-10 to ASIN field

    For books without a Kindle edition, it’s populating the ASIN field with the ISBN-10 from the Amazon Buy Button link, which then creates a broken Kindle preview – “We’re sorry. We weren’t able to load the preview.”

    I can’t delete the ISBN-10 because it just repopulates after updating. It claims it’s a “valid ASIN.”

    Can you post the Amazon Buy Button link that you are using that is causing the problem?

    Appending info to the link doesn’t help

    And maybe this is normal but MBT is shortening the link in the buy button to

    Interesting, we never ran into books like that in our testing. It looks like some older books don’t have a proper ASIN and Amazon instead puts a ISBN in where the ASIN is usually located, but it doesn’t function as a proper ASIN. This is definitely a bug in MyBookTable though and should be fixed in the next update to MyBookTable. Thanks for pointing this out to us.
