Automatically add someone who edits an article as an author

    Hi!

    I was wondering if it was possible in any way to automatically add an author to the authors list if they do edits to a post. Basically the moment they press on publish.

    Thanks for using PublishPress Authors.

    Can you elaborate more please? The moment they press publish, the author will be themselves. Are you expecting it to create another author?

    Hi! @rizaardiyanto thank you for helping.

    What I mean is imagine there is an article already published and I am the author. Now let’s say someone else (i.e. contributor, editor) goes on that same article and makes some edits and press publish. Is there anyway that he or she will be added automatically to the authors list?

    @mikewantshelp Ah that clear things up. However we don’t have that feature yet. It might require some custom code to achieve it.

    @mikewantshelp Sorry, we don’t have a custom code ready for it. I would recommend hire a dedicated WordPress developer to apply this function on your project.
