Automatically add new pages to menu

  • Dear,

    Can anyone help me with the following?
    I want when a page is copied and modified that it is automatically attached to the same menu item as the original (this also could be a childpage).
    Have been looking at all kinds of plugins but don’t come across the right one, who can point me in the right direction?

    go to appearance – menu and select the menu which it is been added automatically and then at down you will see various options in that deselect the option of adding new pages to the menu

    this should resolve your issue

    There are the options checked for:
    – Automatically add top-level pages to this menu
    – Primary navigation menu

    and still it’s nog working. The new pages are not main items but sub items in the menu.

    Could it be the way that i duplicate a page?
    Maybe i need to use an other plugin?
