• Hi, we’re using Google-Fotos.
Within Google-Fotos we upload Albums over several years.
On our website we have one site per year (for example: Photos 2016, Photos 2017, etc).
On each site I have set up a Photonic Gallery.
Currently I need to manually add new albums, so that albums of 2019 end up on the site Photos 2019.

What I would like to achieve is to set up a gallery that uses the “automatically add new albums” feature but depending on the year.

Is there any way to do that?

Unfortunately there is no way to do this. Google’s APIs are very weak in this regard, specifically in the matter of searching and tagging. There is no way to search for albums by name or date range. You can search only for photos using date ranges or pre-defined texts, but those photos will not be grouped into albums.

Other providers such as SmugMug, Flickr and Zenfolio offer concepts such as Folders, Collections and Groups respectively, that let you combine multiple albums together, but Google has nothing of that sort.
