    Hello,

we are selling a subscription via Woocommerce Subscriptions.
For new customers we need to add an additional setup fee.

So we installed this dependency plugin and created an dependency between our subscription and the setup fee.

So if now a user which did not purchased an subscription before tries to buy the subsciption a warning is shown to also add the setup-fee product.

Is there any way to automatically add the setupfee to new customers which did not purchased an subscription before?

Or is there maybe an other plugin for this?

    Thank you.

    Hey there @marcwa19197,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    That’s a smart workaround!

Product Dependencies does not currently have any options that would allow you to automatically add the required products automatically to the cart. Force Sells provides this feature — however, I don’t see a way to restrict Force-Sells to new customers.

Since this is a use-case for WooCommerce Subscriptions, I encourage you to get in touch with the WooCommerce Subscriptions team and ask them which is the best way to achieve the result you have in mind. It is highly possible that they have seen similar cases in the past and know of a “plug-and-play” solution.

Let me know how this goes!
