    Sorry, that’s not what simple menus is for.

    This is a great plugin. The OP’s question may not be what this is for but the usefulness with a small extension cannot be denied. For example, having a secondary menu apply to all pages assigned to a certain category. This would give you a two tiered menu dependent upon category instead of just an individual page.

    Posts can have multiple tags and categories. For a by category/tag selection to work a plugin would need to have a complex priority system in place to determine which category/tag selection should be used on any given post.
