Automatic welcome email not sent when subscribing to 2+ lists

  • Hi, tested your plugin to overcome the issue of users being unsubscribed from mailing lists, if they do not check the ‘subscribe’ box on Woo checkout. I’m very happy to see that you do not unsubscribe users if this is not selected.

    I have come across one issue. I have an automated email set to go out when someone subscribes to the ‘newsletter’ mailing list. If this is the only list your plugin subscribes a user to, the automated email goes out fine.

    If I set your plugin to subscribe to both ‘newsletter’ and ‘woocommerce customers’ the automated email does not go out. I do not want the users to select the mailing lists, I want them added to both and the welcome email to go out. Not sure if this is an issue with your plugin or with MailPoet directly. Many thanks.

    Currently adding users to multiple list without selecting the lists is not supported.
    We will have a look on this issue with the welcome email and get back to you soon.
