Automatic way to Prompts users to accept notifications

    It is only possible for HTTPS sites to auto show the Chrome permission prompt. However it is a best practice to show a message explaining notifications before showing the Chrome permission prompt.

    In a future update we will provide more options for users to opt into notifications from your wordpress site.

    For anybody browsing this thread now, we support automatically showing the browser’s native prompt for HTTPS sites only. After installing the plugin, simply visit your Configuration tab and enable “Automatically prompt new site visitors to subscribe to push notifications”. This option will not be visible if your site isn’t HTTPS-configured.
