• Hi there. I’d like to have the watermark automatically applied to all images uploaded by the users through the Frontend Uploader extension, either by using the NextGEN Gallery default watermark feature, or by using a third-party plugin such as Image Watermark (https://www.dfactory.eu/plugins/image-watermark/).

If this requires extensive code interventions outside of hooking to something through my theme’s functions.php, I’m happy to do that, just point me to the relevant function I need to modify (presumably somewhere after the upload has been completed and the photo resized), and I’ll modify the plugin code myself. Future update compatibility is not an issue, it’s a simple site that’ll be active for a couple of weeks and then shut down.

I just need a starting point, so any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers!

Admittedly, I’m not sure when you would need to hook in for that type of functionality. The current released version uses some of NextGEN Gallery’s functionality to handle the uploading, but it’s also not technically compatible with NGG 2.x. The plugin on .org here is still for the 1.x line.

We haven’t managed to get the plugin to a point where it’s both compatible and also ready for mass release.

The plugin doesn’t have a lot of files, only 3 that you would want to touch, if you’re wanting to try and go in and modify yourself.
