Today, I create my site map manually and I clean the url that are not necessary to discover the site. Does the Siteweb generator XML plugin automatically create the website and also does the cleanup?

Sorry @juli609wp, I don’t understand your question. Our plugin creates the sitemap, which you can add to Google Search Console to help improve indexation of your website content.

Usually I create it by hand and I first remove unwanted pages when consulting robots. I do it with every modification of the site.
Does the plugin realize all these functions automatically?

Excuse me, I forgot to thank you for your first answer.

You’re welcome. If you’re asking if the sitemaps are dynamically updated in real time whenever you add or remove pages to your website, the answer is yes. I’m not sure what you mean about “consulting robots”?

Sorry I wasn’t clear. When I add an article by hand I refactor my sitemap and I filter all unnecessary pages so that they do not appear in the site map (cofidentiality policy, obsolete pages) Does pluging perform this filtering? Regards

Yes, if a page/post etc is excluded either in settings or disallowed in robots.txt it will automatically be omitted from the sitemap.

Thank you for that clarification. I have other pages like privacy clauses and Cat (Category) pages If I want to exclude them I have to do it from the robots.txt file. Is that what it is? Thanks a lot

You can. Or you can find the page IDs and add them to the excluded pages box on the plugin’s settings screen.

Thank you I will implement the pluging then make the changes indicated. Are there precautions to take to implement the plugin?
    Thank you very much

No, there are not any precautions.
