I’ve got a few different blogs but am only having issues with one of them. When I go to upgrade automatically the Hostname is pre-filled with

    ://mydomain.co.uk

and then when I try to change it, to the correct FTP Hostname I get this when I click submit:

    xx.xx.xx.x://mydomain.co.uk

So basically it keeps adding the first line of text to whatever I enter!

I’ve tried using a few different browsers but it seems the caching of those details is somewhere in WP and not my server.

    Any ideas?

Just to let you know that I managed to revolve this issue by upgrading to the very latest version of WP (by doing this manually) and then it seemed to remove the :// element that was messing up the automatic upgrades. Hope this helps you as well?

Not sure I understand your question but basically you need to enter your FTP details i.e. server, username and password as provided by your web hosts.
