Automatic update not working

  • Hello I just started building websites and have a limited knowledge. I took over a website wich was created 6 years ago. Everything is working except the automatic update option for plugins. It’s just not there.
    I already read a lot of articles and found similar problems and solutions but nothing worked for me. Maybe someone can help me or tell me where to find support.

  • @pazke Do let me know if this works.

    Go to wp-config.php and locate the below code:

    define(‘AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED’, true);

    Either remove this line or make it false

    I read about this once but I didn’t dare to edit the code. Beside I didn’t find it anyways. Thanks again
