Automatic status change for virtual orders

  • I am using Event Tickets Plus with PayPal for WooCommerce on my site, and based on what I read in multiple places, I am led to believe that WooCommerce will automatically convert incoming ticket orders (virtual) from Processing to Completed. But that’s not happening. What can I do to fix this? (I have enabled the checkbox in the ticket settings to attempt to do the conversion to no avail)

    The built in PayPal Standard that comes with WooCommerce does that for you using IPN. We did not include that in our PayPal for WooCommerce plugin because we went a step further…or maybe a leap!

    We built a separate free plugin, PayPal IPN for WordPress. This is much more powerful than simply updating the WooCommerce order status, but you can use it to get that done.

    Here is a guide we wrote specifically for that purpose. Please take a look and let me know if you have any specific questions after that.
