• Hi there,

Is there any way to have a site created automatically for each user that registers to multisite ? I use MINGLE (https://www.wpmingle.com) and i use it’s registration in order to avoid messing up with wp-signup.php which is really ugly with my theme.

What i need to do it’s to set a limit of 1 site per user , i’m pretty sure that i saw a plugin for this so it would be fine but what i need and can’t find is a way for creating a blog for each user automatically without even asking them if they just need a username.

Please advice if there is any code i can modify to achieve that.

    Thanks in advance
    Stelios

Hi Ipstenu, thank you very much for the plugin.

But do you have any idea about the automatic site creation?

    Thanks in advance

Not really, since you HAVE to have an ID to make a site, and it should be a part of signup… I thought you could make a site and ID in one signup just by default.

No, unfortunately there is not such an option or at least i couldn’t find it…..whata bout if make it to use the username that the user provides during the signup as an ID.

    Is this possible? Please advice.

What are your network settings for signup?

Here is a screenshot of all the available registration settings…i now have the second one but i tried all others, the third one allows the registered user to create a site through wp-admin dashboard and the last one is to let them create a site during the signup and asks for an id which in my case i want the id to be the username and not be able to create another site through wp-admin dashboard.

Pick the other setting and install the plugin Ipstenu suggested.

When they pick a username, the first site they make will have the name of that username in the address.

    Hi everyone,

This is not working in my case because the user still does not get a site with his username during the signup, instead he still have the option “Create a site” in his wp-admin dashboard so he can create his site himself and this is what i need to avoid because wp-singup.php is really a mess with the theme i use.

    Please advice
    Stelios

Well, you *can* fix how wp-signup.php looks with your theme. Just…. add the css for .wide-content.

    no extras needed.

Tried but still looks ugly…better on firefox than ie but still not good enough.

You are going to have to either edit the file, your css for the theme, or make a page template.

    Hi Andrea,

Are you available to do this for me? Fix the registration page and make my current theme(Repro from themeforest.net) to work with buddypress without getting ugly?

If yes please let me know the total price(i don’t know if there are private messages here if not please let me know how i can get i quote from you) or if you are not available can you suggest any other developer ?

    Thanks in advance
