Automatic Refunds via Square

    I just set up a new store for a client, and they’re using Square. They asked about how to process refunds. My question is, if I’ve already connected Square to accept payments, are there any additional settings/configuration that I need to do to allow Automatic Refunds?

    I’ve found some links that show PayPal requiring API keys to process refunds, but can’t find anything similar for Square.

    Perhaps I’m already good since the Square account has been set up (and one successful transaction has taken place) but wanted to see if there is anything more that I need to do to assure they’ll be able to process Automatic Refunds in WordPress without having to go to the Square account manually.

    @matt6303 I can confirm this Square plugin does offer support for Automatic Refunds. No extra step is needed to configure the refunds – as long as you have connected the gateway, refunds will be processed automatically.

    This section covers refunds.

    I’d been on that page, but nothing on the page addressed whether additional settings were necessary, and I didn’t want to assume I was already good. Thanks for the very quick reply.
