automatic logout redirect – where to define?

  • I am sending a newsletter to registered members, containing links to forum topics which are protected by s2member. If they are logged out, they are redirected to my “register” page.
    I would like to change this. Where do I define the page they are redirected to alternatively? I would like to redirect them to a login box/page, and afterwards directly to the page/forum topic they wanted to visit. Can I do this with s2member, or do I have to use another plugin?

    Thanks for asking. The solution they discussed was not fitting for me. Temporarely I chose the Membership Options Page function instead. On the MOP, I have written a section for existing members, and another part is explaining why the content they are searching for ist protected.
    But it’s not the exact solution I am looking for.
    It fixed the most important issue though, redirecting existing members who are logged out and follow a membership newsletter link to protected content to the registration page.

    Thanks for your help, Mike. Maybe you have another suggestion, or any other member or s2member support staff has one?
