Automatic Import Using Add From Server

  • I’ve just started testing Add From Server. It’s a great plugin. I was wondering if it as possible to do an add-on to it that would allow a shortcode to automatically import the media into the post when when it is published.

    Example:
    Media is located in /home/www/domain.com/media/subfolders
    When a post is made, use a shortcode such as [add_from_server dir=/home/www/domain.com/media/subfolder]
    When published, the plugin would then import and attach the images to the new post.

    Is this too far-fetched to happen?
