Automatic import

  • It imported without any problems.
    Now, I think it should be possible to automatically import, everytime I write a post on Tumblr. I’m using both WP and Tumblr, for different reasons, so it’s a bit of “pain” when I write a postin Tumblr, to go to WP and do the process again, specially when it doesn’t save my details. I need to put the Key, etc, over and over again.

    Apart from that, it worked as described.

    The Importer is not a continuous process, nor is it intended to be a way to facilitate cross-posting of content. The importer is intended to be a tool to assist people in migrating their content from Tumblr to a WordPress install, one-time. After that, it’s expected that you’d want to post on the WordPress install.

    Also, duplicating content across sites is a bad idea, and will lose you ranking in Google.
