Automatic Header image Finishing?

I would like to use a photo I took myself for the image in the header. Is there a program, plugin or some other easy way to round the corners off my image and give it a clean, white border? I found that this is somehow done on all commercial header images, like those on Kubrickr. This is all being done on the default theme.
