    Hi,

I have a weird issue with Product Feed Pro.

I have 4 active feeds, 2 for Facebook product catalog and 2 for Google shopping.
I can perfectly manually run them and they entirely update without any issue.
The issue is that they do not automatically update everyday as they should.
All of those as set to be updated daily.

I have checked the following elements already :
    – WP Cron is active (can be seen in the plugin systems check)
    – woosea_elite_create_all_feeds() Action is there in Cron events list and is set to be launched everyday at 2 AM (Paris time). I tried to launch it manually but nothing seems to be happening
    – I have excluded the xml file directory in all of the caching plugins we use.

What am I missing in there ?

    Thanks a lot!

    Best,

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Are you seeing any notifications on the “Manage feeds” page of our plugin that indicate something is wrong with your WP-cron?

Also, can you share with us the plugin debug.log URL with us so we can tell how you configured your feed(s)? This is how you can retrieve the debug.log URL: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching back to me.

No I do not see any notifications on the “Manage feeds” page.

Regarding the debug.log URL, I have followed the instructions you sent me but there do not seem to be any debug.log file on our server in this directory.
Here is the generated link : https://zespa.fr/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/logs/debug.log

    Best.

Are you sure you followed the correct instructions? You need to add exactly this to the URL: &debug=true on your Manage feeds page so the URL would look something like this: ../wp-admin/admin.php?page=woosea_manage_feed&debug=true

Yes that is exactly what I have done, but looks like no file is created in the server ..

Are you then perhaps using some sort of security/permission plugin that is preventing plugins from creating files?

Not that I am aware of. Would you need a list of plugin I use so that you can help me furthermore ?

    Any news ??

We are stuck here as we cannot see if your feed is really stuck or that you might experience another issues, such as caching or perhaps a conflict with another plugin.

The debug.log file is being created in a publicly accessible path/directory on your WordPress environment so under normal circumstances that file should just be there and created when you took the steps as explained. Since you mention the debug file is not created there can only be two reasons: you either did not take the correct steps to create the debug.log file or something installed in your WordPress environment is preventing the file from being created (permission related).

Did you already check your WooCommerce fatal error logs of the last couple of days to see if there are any errors in there? This is where you can find the WooCommerce fatal error logs: https://woocommerce.com/document/finding-php-error-logs/

Hey I think I finally was able to generate the debug.log file.

    Here it is :
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/3tgyhq2vlo5dmap/debug.log?dl=0

Let me know if you have trouble accessing the file, or if I need to generate it again (it was generated on September 12).

Thanks for this. I was able to open your debug.log URL now and noticed that you are a paid Elite user.

Unfortunately, per the WordPress forum guidelines, we’re not allowed to discuss our paid Elite plugin here so for any questions about our paid plugins, please contact our support team directly.
