    Hello everyone.

    Like I’ve seen around, it seems a problem that often happens to WooCommerce Users.

    I already installed and correctly configured WP Mail SMTP (forcing from email) and WP Mail Logging.

    What I can see is that:

    – automatic sending of emails at orders status change are not sent at all (they are all correctly enabled);

    – manual sending of emails to the customer works from inside order details;

    – manual sending of emails to the owner doesn’t worl properly (it should send 3 emails to 3 different addresses: one works, while the other two return an “SMTP Error: data not accepted.” message).

    Do you have any suggestion? I can’t figure it out anymore……

    Notice that it worked for years before. It’s not working from last week.

    Hi there ??

    This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Before you start

    1. First, please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. Most hosting companies have this included in the subscription, but you could also consider using a service like?Jetpack. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site.
    2. Second, I would suggest installing a plugin called?Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

    I hope that helps!

    I’ve got the exact same issue with 5.0/5.1, reverting to 4.9.2 fixes it so I don’t think we should be looking in any other directions than Woocommerce.

    Hey @johnboone

    It’s always possible that there are plugins in your site that work well with WooCommerce 4.9.2, but not with WooCommerce 5, and that might cause the issue.

    Because of that, it’s important to test if the issue is still present when your site is on a default theme with WooCommerce being the only active plugin.

    If you see that the issue still appears when your site is on a default theme and WooCommerce is the only plugin active, it’s safe to say that it’s related to (a setting with) WooCommerce itself. If that’s the case, let us know and we can look into it a bit more.

    Hi @johnboone and @lucadima

    We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Hopefully, you were able to find a solution to your problem! If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new topic.
