Automatic Display Mode

Hello,
I had previously been thinking of manually adding the Google Translate code to my site, but ran into an issue: Google Translate says there is a display mode option of “Automatic,” but it doesn’t appear to work. It says:

“The translation banner will automatically be displayed when the default browser language of the visitor is different from the language of your page. No dropdown will be displayed.”

However, I have found that it always displays using the “inline” mode instead. I thought maybe I’d see if a plugin author had figured this out! But I don’t see the “Automatic Display Mode” option (unless I’m missing it or not understanding) in your plugin. Is it an option? Or does it maybe just not work?
