Automatic alert for double subscription attempt.
-
Greetings to all of you.
I would like to thank you in advance for your kind attention to what follows.
Since I subscribed to MailPoet, I have been carrying out some operational tests.
I simulated a subscription using the form I created where it offers a coupon code worth 10%.
My email was then added to the MailPoet subscriber list.I then simulated the intention of a customer trying to subscribe again with the same email address. I then received the same email template requesting confirmation of the subscription.
I am then directed to the usual page that confirms the subscription and informs me that I will be contacted shortly.
However, no email is sent, since I stipulated in the automation created for sending emails (containing the Coupon Code) to happen only once per subscription associated with 1 email.
Therefore, I would like to know how to make the MailPoet system somehow notify the customer that he or she is already subscribed (in the process of trying to make more than one subscription with the same name and email), thus avoiding the waste of time and resources in the sequence mentioned above.
Best regards
