• Basically after the payment has been made through a 3rd party source, the customer shall receive an automated email. In the email I want the users login details to be automatically generated and for my course to accept it when they sign in.

I do NOT want the user to register through S2 member

    Can S2 member do this?

    Any Help much appreciated

How are the user’s login details being generated (and assumedly being fed to WordPress)? By another plugin? If the user information is accepted into WordPress and a user account created with a user role (level) recognized by s2Member then s2Member can handle content restrictions based on that information. If all you are looking for is content restrictions, you’ll be fine. However, unless s2Member has a “relationship” with the payment processor reporting to s2Member, s2 Member would not know when subscriptions expired, were canceled, or when chargebacks/refunds occurred.

george.hobson, Pat is right, what you ask depends on a number of things.

Could you give a bit more info about how you’d be creating the user’s account, and what you’re using to get the product payment?

I think it’d be possible to do what you said with a bit of customization, but I’d need more info before I can suggest a way.

Looking forward to your update. ??

    Hello guys.

thanks for replying I appreciate your help. I have decided to leave it as a open registration so anyone with the correct link can register for the course.

I am just now on the look out for a way to protect my URL being accessed from a search engine and only allow people with a direct link to access the page .

Thanks for your help Cristián and Patricia
