    Hello everyone
I have multiple woocommerce sites in France, shipping in France or Europe with various Tax setups according to delivery, until now everything was set manually. I had trouble with the tax management in the latest Woocommerce versions so I tried WC Services.

I’ve read a few comments on the forum, and found that WC Services “will add rates to the tax tables when they are calculated for the first time and then be able to reference them later (when another calculation from that location is needed again)”. This sounds great, but my problem is I have a list of taxes per country, some lines additionnally per zip, and these automatically added rates are often wrong – they always create a line WITH tax per country/zip/city while the case should be resolved with the lines I built :
Either it exists and should take the value of the table line, or it does not exist in the table hence should be zero.
How do we change the behaviour of WC Services to get to this result ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Remade a test, changing the address from the Cart page – from here :

if the country/zip is resolved in the table, it does not add a line to the table, keeps the correct line with country & zip combination, but changes the tax name field to “Tax” which is quite annoying, if it could remain unchanged it would be great !

if the country/zip does not exist in the table, it creates a new line with country/zip/city with the default tax rate – where there should be none !

It also does not take into account the tax rates when listed in the Zero Rate table !!! and recreates a line in the Standard Rate table.

I tried putting all lines in the Standard Rate Table – including zero tax lines – and when I test live it overwrites the line enabling the standard 20% rate, and applying on freight costs

    Hey @morklavor!

Regarding the freight costs, it sounds like what you’re reporting is similar to this issue that was recently added to Github:

    https://github.com/Automattic/woocommerce-services/issues/2020

Since that repo is public, you can report bugs yourself by creating a new issue on that repo for the developers to take a look at. You can also click the “Subscribe” button in the “Notifications” section of the sidebar to follow along with issues and get updates when comments are added.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
