Automated hyperlink for images
-
I use Dreamweaver as a text editor.
In order to insert an image in a post, I need to click on it in whichever subfolder it’s located in my Dreamweaver folder.
That’s all fine. But…
Dreamweaver doesn’t automatically create a path (a href=”xyz.jpg”)(/a) to the image. I have to do it manually either through Dreamweaver or by clicking on the “hyperlink button” on WordPress and then typing out the image’s hyperlink (which is always its location on the remote server — “…xyz.jpg”).
I was wondering if there’s a WordPress plugin that would do that **automatically**. I’ve tried different “automatic hyperlink” plugins, but none has worked for images.
The url for the image is there, say, <img src=”www.altfg.com/Stars/lulu.jpg”> but no plugin has automatically created a hyperlink for that url address.
Is there one that would do that? It’s just very time consuming to be adding an image’s url path each time we add an image to a post.
Any assistance or suggestion would be much appreicated.
