Automated Email Responses Not Saving

  • I have Add On “Additional Automated Messages” toggle switch turned on. I went to Membership 2 Settings, Automated Email Responses, and chose “Signup – Forgot Password”, and clicked “Load Template.” I filled it out, turned on the toggle switch, and clicked saved changes. But when I saved, all the fields disappeared and the toggle switch turned off. But I went and tested it out anyway, and it worked. However, when I come back to it in the admin panel, the toggle switch is off again, and the fields are blank again. It doesn’t seem to be saving. Am I missing a step? Thank you for your help!

    Hey there junglerat2,

    How are you doing today?

    This sounds like a conflict, could you please try testing by using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

    Hi Bojan,

    Thank you for the reply! Sorry for the simple question, but I just want to make sure…if I switch to Twenty Fifteen from my current theme, when I switch back will all of my customization and changes still be there in my theme? I’ve never done this before, and I’ve been working hard on this other theme.

    Hi Bojan,

    I moved the site from a subfolder to the root folder of our server (for other reasons, not for this reason), and now it’s working. Not sure what happened, but you can disregard this, and thanks for your help!
