Automated Email response with attachment

Hi,
I am giving out free e-books. In order to get them people have to fill in a form with their details. Once they submit the form, I get an email with their details and they get an email with the e-book.
At the moment I am hardcoding these forms but it would be great if upon submit we could set up an email that will be automatically emailed to the visitor and also have the option to add attachments to this reply email.
It would be good if the attachments could be selected either via full url or via the media library.
Would this be possible for the future?
