Hello, I started my page in January, and have been having problems with contact forms. I want to have people sign up for e-mail and get an automated sequence of emails. I set up a sequence in creative mail. But, when we tried signing up, no e-mails went out. We have pulled down the contact forms and I want to start over. Unfortunately, I was born before 1980, so am not that tech savvy. Can I get a step by step instruction to set up a contact form and connect it to the creative mail sequence? I would like to have the sign up form show up on every page and have an opt in button connected to our privacy policy.
    Thank you for any help!

Hello @cheffred, thank you so much for reaching out. Sorry to hear you’re having issues with our plugin automation tool. I would like to ask a few questions and get a few visuals to investigate the matter further.

Just to be sure, onlycumin.com is the domain you’re using, correct? Also, which plugin did you use to create your sign-up form and which page is the sign-up form on?

It would also help if we could get a screenshot of the settings page inside of your creative mail account, That will help us determine which plugins were enabled to sync the contacts form. In addition to the settings page, we would also need a screenshot of the automation flow to have insight into the trigger that was used. You can use https://prnt.sc/ to upload your screenshots.

Once this information is received we can look into why you’re experiencing issues and we will get back to you with a response as quickly as possible.

    Yes. It is onlycumin.com

I had a jetpack form, but something happened to our jetpack plug in. I am working with bluehost and cloudflare to fix that issue. I don’t know how it happened, but our website was being directed to cloudflare even though I have hosting from bluehost. That whole issue is a nightmare onto itself.
We also have a constant contact form as well. I tried contact form 7, ninja forms, and WP forms. We removed all of those and are trying to work with constant contact and Jetpack forms only.I don’t know if the jetpack forms are working and my jetpack program is not giving me an option to make a new form.

    Will send the screenshots.

I also have an email in constant contact ready to send as well. Neither Constant contact nor creative mail are being triggered though.

Also, I uploaded the screenshots. I sent 7 screens. Hopefully this helps. But, I have a feeling Jetpack could be the issue. Is there a way to change the settings to use a constant contact sign up form?

Hey there, @cheffred. Thank you so much for your response. In order for us to see your screenshots, you will need to click on the URL link that pops up on the screen after your screenshot has been uploaded. The link is right below the “Success!” message. Once you click on that URL, it will take you to the page where your screenshot has been uploaded. If you don’t mind sharing the link to the screenshots with me by copying the URL that appears on the top of the page, so that way we can view them as well. To summarize, we’ll need screenshots of the following:
    The automation flow
The settings page in our plugin

Also, to answer your question, Creative mail does not yet support Constant Contact signup forms.

I am not getting anything popping up when I upload the screenshots. So, I have no idea where they are going.

Can you tell me which contact forms are compatible with creative mail and constant contact. The creative mail sequence is: when someone signs up for our email list, they get a welcome email followed by 2 follow ups over the next few days. Simple, easy peasy. But, our contact forms don’t seem to be communicating with creative mail. And, I can’t find a contact form on jetpack.
I can use constant contact or creative mail, I guess. I set up an auto response email in constant contact, but I couldn’t find a welcome sequence template. Creative mail had one that I was able to set up an easy set of emails.
I’m not married to any particular program. I just want a contact form that triggers a reponse sequence. If I have to tear down and start over, I’m fine with that.
    Thank you,
    FD

Thanks for the response @cheffred! Sorry the site is not allowing you to upload images. Normally, after you upload the images you can share the URL in the search bar and the receiver will be able to view the images.

Nonetheless, there are many forms that are compatible with the Creative Mail plugin but you would want to test out a few and see which one works best with what you are doing. Here are a few to choose from: Jetpack Forms, WooCommerce, Contact Form 7, Newsletter, WPForms, WPForms Lite, GravityForms, Elementor, Ninja Forms, and Caldera Forms. I hope this helps!

I was able to send out a newsletter via creative mail. But, it didn’t go to all the contacts I sent it to. And, still not getting the automated response going out. Do I need to have the premium version of Jetpack? I subscribed to Creative mail. I am not getting a lot of options about where and when to send automated emails from either jetpack or creative mail plug in.

Hi there, @cheffred – thank you for your patience.

We’re sorry that you’ve not been able to receive the emails from the tested automation features. In order to best assist you, I would like to know which contact form are you currently using to collect the sign-ups?

Also, if you could share the link to the page where your signup form is located, that would be helpful. Once we have this information, we can provide a more accurate response on how to configure your automated emails with your collected contacts from your sign-up form.

Using jetpack forms and creative mail for the automation.

I added another form to the page, but it didn’t get saved either.

I also tried constant contact form, but that didn’t work at all.

What I would really like is a form that shows up automatically on every page. But, I’d be happy with anything that allows people to sign up and get automated responses.

If you follow the steps provided in these articles and are still having issues please feel free to reach back out.

I am having the exact same problem and nothing is working. All of the articles on the creativemail support are irrelevant. I can’t get creativemail to import any of my contacts to my welcome campaign. They get imported, but no one ever receives my welcome email.

    Plugin Author Constant Contact

    (@constantcontact)

    Hi @tbarb13

This is expected, currently we do not support to send the welcome email series to contacts you are importing.

You can however setup an automation that responds to the “Add to list” trigger and then assign the contacts that you are importing to that list, this will add them to the automation.
