    Hey,

thanks for the plugin which works fine for us in general. But occasionally, we experience payments via Stripe that require manual involvement to take the payment (appears on some credit card payments). Stripe logs:

“Stripe charge authorized (Charge ID: XXX). Process order to take payment, or cancel to remove the pre-authorization.”

What we need ist to automate this process somehow (to avoid that authorized payments are canceled by Stripe if we don’t react). So either, take the payment automatically and change the order status accordingly, or, if not possible, to receive an email when ordes need manual involvement to get processed.

Looking forward to you help and thank you in advance,

    Christoph

  • Hi,

Please check your Stripe settings, be sure to uncheck the setting, Issue an authorization on checkout, and capture later, then save the settings.

If that does not make a difference, please provide a screenshot of the order affected, don’t forget to redact any sensitive information such as names, emails, addresses, etc.

    Cheers!

Thanks Igor for your answer. This option was deactivated all the time and 99% of alle orders are captured automatically. Just a few payments (like a mastercard payment from a suisse customer) show the related stipe status in the order:

    • Stripe charge authorized (Charge ID: xxx). Process order to take payment, or cancel to remove the pre-authorization. Attempting to refund the order in part or in full will release the authorization and cancel the payment. Status der Bestellung von Zahlung ausstehend auf In Wartestellung ge?ndert.5. Juni 2023 um 7:34?Uhr?
    • Stripe payment intent created (Payment Intent ID: xxx)

    Hi,

I’d need to ask for additional pieces of information.

    • Enable the debug mode: Please head to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > stripe > settings > advanced settings > Log error messages. Enable the debug mode and save the settings.
    • Provide us with the error log: Please share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).
    • Please share your System Status Report, found under WooCommerce > Status, on your site.

That will permit to take a closer look, thanks.
